According to Jin Shi reports, Federal Reserve's Bostic stated on Wednesday that he tends to keep interest rates unchanged until there is "clear evidence" that inflation returns to the 2% target level. He pointed out that the current more clear and urgent risk remains price stability. Bostic mentioned that signals from the labor market are ambiguous and difficult to interpret, insufficient to support a radical monetary policy response in the face of persistent inflationary pressures. As retirement approaches, he will no longer participate in voting on U.S. interest rate policy.
