DBS Bank partners with Franklin to launch Singapore's first tokenized retail fund

According to reports, investment management company Franklin Templeton announced on November 10 that it will collaborate with DBS Bank to launch Singapore's first tokenized money market fund.
The fund is named Franklin Onchain U.S. Dollar Short-Term Money Market Fund and has been approved by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) as a recognized scheme.
The fund was developed in collaboration with DBS Bank and will initially be open to wealth clients and accredited investors through DBS Bank, with plans to open to retail investors in the first quarter of 2026, with a minimum investment of $20.
