Yossi Gilad is a senior lecturer at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and former Algorand chief technology officer and director of systems research. Prior to Algorand, Yossi Gilad was a postdoctoral researcher at MIT and Boston University. Before MIT/BU, he was a research staff member at IBM and also a postdoc researcher at the Hebrew University, Israel. Even before that he held research and engineering positions at Google, Marvell’s switching division, and Israel Defense Forces. Yossi Gilad completed his PhD at Bar Ilan University, Israel. He is a recipient of the IETF/IRTF Applied Networking Research Prize (2017), the IBM Research Inventor Recognition Award (2015), and the Check Point Institute for Information Security Prize (2013-2014).

Paul Riegle
Paul Riegle was previously Chief Product Officer at Algorand. Prior to joining Algorand, Paul was with Carbon Black where he led product management for all strategic initiatives across a portfolio of products that produce over $200 million in recurring revenue. This role included being market facing where he pushed to educate, advocate, and contribute to thought leadership in the cybersecurity space. Prior to Carbon Black, Paul held a number of leadership positions including global product management at IBM and founding a sales oriented startup. Shane Molidor
Shane Molidor was CEO of Business Development at AscendEX, former Global Head of FBG One, which is the client-facing trading division of FBG Capital. FBG One operates an over-the-counter (“OTC”) desk to service clients seeking to trade large quantities of crypto assets, as well as a designated market making program to support token projects following issuance. FBG One trades upwards of $1B per month, and the team consists of over 20 professionals across trading, IT, and business development. Prior to joining FBG One, Mr. Molidor worked in business development at Gemini Trust Company, LLC: a fully regulated New York-based cryptocurrency exchange and custodian founded by Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss. Mr. Molidor has worked alongside premiere trading institutions, token projects, and regulators in the cryptocurrency ecosystem since 2015. His experience has equipped him with an intimate understanding of exchange infrastructure, custody solutions, evolving regulation, and marketplace dynamics. Mr. Molidor holds a Bachelor of Arts from Princeton University and also attended The London School of Economics where he studied Economics.

Before joining Algorand, Jacopo served as the VP of Marketing at myInvenio, a process mining software company dedicated to optimizing organizational processes through data-driven insights that was successfully acquired by IBM in 2021. Jacopo earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Social Sciences from Bocconi University. He also holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and Management from École Supérieure de Commerce de Paris (ESCP) Business School.
