Nicolas Berggruen is the founder and chairman of the Berggruen Institute, an independent think tank, and the founder and investment advisor of Berggruen Holdings, the investment vehicle of the Nicolas Berggruen Charitable Trust. Recognized as a thought leader on global issues, he is also the co-publisher of Noema Magazine, and co-author of the books: Intelligent Governance for the 21st Century: A Middle Way Between West and East and Renovating Democracy: Governing in the Age of Globalization and Digital Capitalism. In 2010, Nicolas founded the Berggruen Institute to address fundamental political and cultural questions in our rapidly changing world.
