He has published more than 100 academic papers in leading journals such as Nature Communications and European Journal of Operations Research. Yu Xiong founded and leads the School of Blockchain and Metadata Applications at the University of Surrey. He also chairs the UK's cross-party Parliamentary Metaverse and Web 3.0 Group, responsible for shaping policy in the emerging digital space.
