John Shutt is the Co-Founder of Across Protocol. Formly he is a Senior Engineer at UMA, and was previously a Senior Blockchain Solutions Architect in the Digital Transformation practice of Ernst & Young LLP. John specializes in designing, building, and assessing advanced blockchain applications, and has led global development teams to build multiple private and public blockchain projects that are live in production. Prior to entering the blockchain space, John worked for years as a lead developer and consultant for Silicon Valley startups and ran a secure communications platform for investigative journalism. John brings over a decade of experience in software engineering, product management, and team leadership.
