Farid Rached is the former Ecosystem Growth Manager at Avalanche. Pushing a decentralised future forward by growing the development, exposure and adoption of Avalanche. Formerly at Magic Labs, Fortmatic. Avalanche is the first smart contracts platform that can confirm transactions in under one second, is interoperable with all Ethereum tooling, and capable of throughput orders of magnitude greater than existing blockchain networks (4,500+ transactions/second). It achieves strong safety guarantees without compromising decentralization or requiring sharding and enables millions of independent validators to participate as full block producers. To date, Avalanche’s high performance attracted decentralized projects looking to escape the pain points of slow transaction throughput and settlement speeds of legacy blockchain platforms.

Jasper (Yue) Zhang is the co-founder and CEO of Hyperbolic and was previously a Senior Blockchain Fellow at Ava Labs and a quant Fellow at Citadel Securities. He is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley and Peking University. He is also a gold medalist in the Alibaba Global Math Competition and the Chinese Math Olympiad.

Before that, he was a technology investor and the founder of Sureview Capital, a hedge fund supported by the Blackstone Group. John began his investment career at Tiger Management, a distinguished hedge fund that had $20 billion in assets under management at its peak. Afterwards, he managed a global technology portfolio at Kingdon Capital. John received his MBA from Harvard University and holds a BS in Economics from Cornell University.
