Chan Ka-keung Ceajer (KC Chan) is an adjunct professor at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, chairman of the board of directors of WeLab Virtual Bank, and chief scientific advisor of the Hong Kong Web3.0 Association Council. From 2007 to 2017, he served as the Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government. Before joining the government, Chen Jiaqiang was the Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Before joining HKUST Business School in 1993, he taught at Ohio State University for 9 years. KC Chan graduated from the University of Chicago with an MBA and a Ph.D. in Finance. Professor Chen specializes in asset pricing, trading strategy evaluation and market efficiency.
