Brian Quintenz is the Head of Policy for a16z crypto, where he helps to translate between the crypto and policy communities.Brian has long stood out as an innovative thinker in crypto and DeFi and was one of the earliest leaders in Washington to recognize the value of crypto. Brian initially joined a16z crypto as a senior advisor. In December 2022, he moved to the full-time role leading its policy team.Prior to joining a16z, he was nominated by both Presidents Obama and Trump to serve as commissioner of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) .Prior to his appointment to the CFTC, Brian was the Founder and Managing Principal of Saeculum Capital Management, LLC.Brian received his B.S. from Duke University and M.B.A. from Georgetown University.

Ronny Conway
Ronny Conway is founder and general partner of A.Capital, a Managing Partner of SV Angel. Prior to founding A.Capital, Ronny was one of the first partners at Andreessen Horowitz, where he served as head of seed and early-stage investments and was involved in high-profile investments such as Airbnb, Instagram, Optimizely, Pinterest, Dollar Shave Club, and Twitter. Prior to a16z, Ronny spent six years at Google and was one of the first employees at Google Ventures. Ronny has spent most of his life in venture capital and earned his bachelor's degree from UCLA.
Ramu Arunachalam
Ramu Arunachalam is the General Partner at A.Capital. Ramu was most recently a Partner at Andreessen Horowitz. A computer scientist by training, Ramu has over a decade of operating experience in product management and engineering at both startups and public companies. Prior to Andreessen Horowitz, Ramu led new product initiatives in Big Data for Aster Data (acquired by Teradata). Earlier in his career, Ramu was an engineer at VMware and part of the team that developed the industry’s first virtual switch for VMware’s flagship ESX server product line. Ramu holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, an MS in Computer Science from the University of Maryland and a BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering (with University Honors) from Carnegie Mellon University.

Jonathan Lai
Jonathan Lai is Partner at Andreessen Horowitz on the consumer team, investing in games, crypto, and social. Today, Jon serves on the board of Elodie, Mainframe Industries, Mountaintop, Singularity 6, and StarStock, and helped lead the firm's investments in RTFKT, Roblox, Parsec, Lowkey, and Z League, among others.Before joining Andreessen Horowitz, Jon led the North America games investments team at Tencent. Prior, Jon was a product manager at Riot Games, the developers of League of Legends, where he shipped the Riot API and Merch Store before the company was acquired by Tencent. He started his career in investment banking for Morgan Stanley.Jon graduated from Harvard University with an MBA and BA in Economics, and lives in the Bay Area with his family.
