Naïri Usher is Chief Scientist at Flare Networks. Previously Postdoctoral researcher in Quantum Machine Learning UCL. Worked in collaboration with Siemens on applications of quantum algorithms to healthcare and image recognition. She completed her PhD in quantum computing, where her thesis considered models of quantum computing, probing the connection between physical resources and computational power. She was then a postdoc within UCL’s Department of Computer Science, working in quantum and classical machine learning, where she collaborated with Siemens in order to study how quantum algorithms could be harnessed for learning tasks.

Hugo Philion is Co-founder and CEO of Flare Networks. He was previously the Founder of the modular building system Future Generations, and a Commodity Derivatives Portfolio Manager at two funds with assets of over $1 billion. He holds a BSc in Investment and Financial Risk Management from Cass Business School, and has studied Machine Learning at UCL.

Jonathan Ward is the founder of Enumero and the former CTO of Fetch AI. Previously, he received a PhD in machine learning from University College London, where he studied protein folding problems. He was also involved in applying machine learning algorithms to problems such as time series and machine vision.
